How do the heads attach, will it fit the current shaft I have?

PrangaHeads come in three sizes: 7.5mm, 7mm, and 6.5mm. They slip over a standard spear shaft and are secured with two 316SS screws (or four on the heavy-duty version). This setup has been tested to hold in excess of 20kg.

How tight should I set the screws?

The screws are designed to sit flush with the Pranga Head body. They should feel snug — overtightening isn’t necessary. You might be surprised how much holding power they have, and overtightening only risks damaging your gear.

Can I replace bent barbs?

Yes. Use a set of pliers to rotate the barb in a 360 motion a few times and pull out the damaged barb. Clean the barb hole with a 4mm drill, then refit a new barb using epoxy resin.

Can a Prangahead land a 20kg Mackie or Bluebone?

Sure, just make sure your shot placement is perfect for a stone shot. But if you are this good at aiming I doubt you even need PrangaHeads in the first place.
